The Inverness Hotel Opens New Urban Spa
Nov. 29, 2006

(Englewood, CO.) - Escape from the ordinary. An hour, a day or a weekend, whatever the choice, it will all be precious time well spent at the city's newest urban oasis, The Spa at The Inverness Hotel, a Destination Hotels & Resorts property. The journey begins as guests walk into the newly constructed 4,500-square-foot Spa that boasts a contemporary Colorado design, artistic water features and a subtle yet welcoming Indian Jasmine scent. The Spa's seven treatment rooms provide a temporary refuge for guests to indulge in one of several hand-selected body treatments, facials and massages tailored for men, women, couples and teens. All Spa guests will enjoy access to hotel amenities and services for a complete, self-indulgent getaway that can last long after their treatment is finished.

The Spa at The Inverness could be considered a day spa, but its service, amenities, guest experience and locale deliver a perfect blend of day spa convenience and destination spa rejuvenation making it a true urban retreat. Styled in contemporary elegance, the unpretentious Spa at The Inverness is deliciously appointed in luscious tones of burgundy, gold and rich earth hues, ensconced within natural elements of water, stone and light. Sparkling new, The Spa features six individual treatment rooms and a couple's suite for various soothing massages, soaks, facials, wraps, scrubs and signature body treatments. Added amenities include a relaxation suite, men's and women's locker rooms, a private outdoor hot tub and fireplace, as well as entree to the hotel's various facilities such as pool, fitness center, tennis courts, restaurants, outdoor garden and shops.

The Spa's choice to select natural and high-quality organic products complements the essence of its surroundings and takes a guest's spa experience to a heightened state of mind. To purify and rejuvenate the body and soul, The Spa at The Inverness selected the Red Flower and Eminence spa line of products that embody years of craftsmanship and experience creating unique skin care treatments in Australia and Hungary. Their commitment to using natural ingredients, including fresh herbs and fruits such as rosehip, linden, calendula and sour cherry distinguishes their products and ensures guests at The Spa at The Inverness experience the very best.

"The Spa at The Inverness is intent on creating customized, personally-indulgent therapies designed for each guest's individual need to free the body of pain and stress and renew the spirit," said Katie Pederson, spa director and certified endermologie technician at The Inverness Hotel. "More than just another spa appointment, clients will enjoy a sensually, empowering and transformative experience that will help to enhance their overall sense of well-being."

In a time of technological advances, modern amenities and conveniences, the pressures of life are as daunting as ever. Various centering practices such as yoga, aromatherapy and home sanctuaries are in high demand. The Spa at The Inverness fully embraces these desires for serenity by creating a restorative, urban retreat fortifying the spirit and reinvigorating health. The Spa at The Inverness offers a full complement of pampering health and spa therapies that include bamboo and ginseng treatments, Swedish massage, and other methods to improve vascular and circulatory functions and dispel disquieting thoughts and worries.
