Renowned golf course architect J. Press Maxwell designed The Inverness Golf Club in 1974. Since then, this championship golf course in Denver has become known for its tight, sloping fairways, rolling hills and fast, undulating greens. It has received national acclaim, earned intense member loyalty and delighted guests of this Denver, Colorado golf resort.
This par-70, 7,057 yard PGA championship golf course challenges everyone from beginners to seasoned golfers. Water comes into play on 11 of the 18 holes and the course's par 3 holes are the test of the golf course. The Inverness Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area and putting green to help prepare you for the upcoming challenge.
The Inverness Golf Club is open 362 days a year, weather permitting.

The 13th hole-a 418-yard, par-4 beauty-requires a near-perfect tee shot. With a medium-sized lake directly in front, golfers must carry the ball 150 yards to stay dry and 30 additional yards to reach the fairway. A hazard runs the entire length of the hole on the left side and an out of bounds restricts the right. The green is relatively shallow but wide, making choosing the correct iron for the second shot imperative-and leaving a good chance for a two-putt par.
Each member of The Inverness Pro Staff is a fully certified PGA golf instructor. As a guest of The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center, you have the opportunity to improve your game with a private golf lesson from our PGA staff. Specialized clinics for your group can also be arranged.
The Inverness Golf Club strictly enforces proper dress code, which requires collared shirts, slacks or walking-length shorts on the course at all times. No tank tops, tee shirts or blue jeans are allowed. Soft spike golf shoe policy is also in effect.
