The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center Celebrates the Season with Thanksgiving Day Buffet

-Holiday Fare Features Wide Selection of Traditional Favorites and Gourmet Creations-

(Englewood, CO.) - The holidays are upon us and The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center is celebrating the season with its signature Thanksgiving Buffet at the Garden Terrace and Columbine Room.

A selection of hot and cold dishes will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., November 24. Cost for the buffet is $37.95 for adults and $17.95 for children ages 4 to 10. Children 3 and under eat free.

For Thanksgiving Executive Chef Peter St. John has prepared a menu that features traditional Holiday Tom Turkey with sherried giblet gravy, cranberry-kumquat relish, apple-chestnut cornbread stuffing and Southern oyster stuffing, as well as wood-roasted prime rib with rosemary au jus and horseradish cream.

The menu also includes
. Harvest squash minestrone with cranberry beans, Swiss chard, ancini de pepe and sun-dried tomatoes
. Maple-glazed country ham with mulled cider-mustard sauce
. Bamboo steamed sole and shrimp paupiettes, carrot ponzu
. Brown butter potato gnocchi with duck confit, sage, parmesan and dried cherries
. Apple-parsnip whipped potatoes
. Sweet potato and marshmallow gratin with pecan streusel
. Wild rice, boniato and quinoa pilaf
. Green bean and porcini mushroom casserole, gruyere and fried shallots
