(Englewood, CO) - With a broad range of dining options and entertainment for all ages, The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center has planned Mother's Day festivities to appeal to mom and the whole family. Mother's Day Brunch will be served Sunday, May 8, in the Garden Terrace and Columbine Room.

Activities and entertainment for the day include:

Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $35.95 for adults and $15.95 for children ages 4 to 10. Regular a la carte dinner seating will be available from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

A selection of traditional cold favorites will be accompanied by assorted gourmet salads, including and Albacore Tuna and White Bean Salad with Arugula and Red Wine Dressing and Chicken and Roasted Pepper Salad with Chevre Cheese and Raspberry White Balsamic Emulsion. Peel-and-eat shrimp and house-smoked seafood will also be available.

Highlights among the warm entrees include Pear, Brie Cheese and Caramelized Onion Quiche and Thyme Seared Chicken Breast with Roasted Shallot Mashed Potatoes and Blackberry-Brandy Sauce. The carving station will feature Dungeness Crab Filled Beef Tenderloin with Morel Mushroom Demi Glace and Sage Rubbed Breast of Turkey with Roasted Garlic Aioli. At the omelet station, guests can take advantage of made-to-order egg creations with all the traditional fixins.

Sweet indulgences span an array of muffins, breads and pastries, alongside The Inverness' classic fruit pizza, blueberry-almond bread pudding with white chocolate creme Anglaise, chocolate espresso pound cake with cinnamon chantilly cream and mascarpone cheesecake with balsamic strawberries.

In addition, a kiddie buffet will feature fun kid-style foods, including French toast sticks, chicken fingers, mac'n'cheese and pudding.
