The Inverness Marketing Head Accepts New Challenge

Director of Sales and Marketing Assumes Regional Responsibility

(ENGLEWOOD, Colo.) ? Curtis Bova, director of sales and marketing for The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center, has been appointed regional director of sales and marketing for Destination Hotels & Resorts, the property?s parent company.

A seasoned marketing professional with more than 14 years experience in the hospitality sector, Bova applies a results-oriented approach to positively influence the property?s market position. He will continue to oversee sales and marketing initiatives for The Inverness, but also will be taking on marketing responsibilities for DH&R sister properties in Colorado, Garden of the Gods Club and Vail Cascade Resort & Spa.

His new role calls for close coordination with the marketing and revenue management teams at each sister property, and will allow the three properties to collaborate and maximize growth opportunities.  Bova will also be involved with new property acquisition and development as Destination Hotels & Resorts expands their portfolio.

Bova previously served in a similar capacity with Colorado Marriott Hotels, representing 52 properties and seven brands. Prior to that appointment, he directed area sales efforts and held senior property sales positions for Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Denver, Hawaii and Atlanta.  

Bova holds a bachelor?s degree in international economics from Temple University Japan in Tokyo and a certificate of advanced hotel marketing from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
