Guests have a plethora of festive dining alternatives at Inverness
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. ? The Inverness Hotel & Golf Club just announced this year?s holiday dining schedule for its award-winning restaurants, The Garden Terrace and The Swan. A variety of dining options are available throughout the holiday season from scrumptious buffets in The Garden Terrace to romantic sit-down dining in The Swan. Due to the popularity of these special events, reservations are highly recommended and must be guaranteed with a credit card. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance.
THANKSGIVING
The Garden Terrace
A traditional Thanksgiving buffet, including:
?A variety of salads and fruits.
?A turkey carving station.
?Additional entr?es such as salmon filet and pork loin.
?The traditional accompaniments such as stuffing, sweet and mashed potatoes, vegetables and butternut cream chowder.
?Tempting desserts such as Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Praline Pie, Pumpkin Allspice Cheesecake, Mince Meat Pie, Chocolate Mousse Torte, a Chocolate Fondue Station and more.
?The buffet will be served beginning at 11 a.m.; last seating is at 5 p.m.
?The cost is $36.95 for adults and $15.95 for children from 4 to 10 years of age.
The Swan
The Swan will serve an amazing four-course Thanksgiving feast with a choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entr?e and dessert.
?Appetizer - Foie Gras, Jumbo Gambas (Shrimp) and Diver Scallop.
?Soup or Salad ? 1) Pumpkin Lobster Bisque 2) Bibb Lettuce Or 3) Caesar Salad.
?Entrees - 1) Seared Pheasant Breast 2) Roasted Tom Turkey with all the Traditional Fixings 3) Grilled Filet of Beef or 4) Grilled Filet of Salmon.
?Desserts ? 1) Acorn Squash and Pecan Cheesecake 2) Warm Poached Pear in Port or 3) Warm Apple Tart.
?The Swan will open at 1 p.m.; last seating is at 5 p.m.
?The dinner is $49.95 per person. Please note: No a la carte menu is available.
CHRISTMAS
The Swan?s 12 Days of Christmas
The Swan will once again offer its five-course Twelve Days of Christmas menu from November 29 through December 25. The menu includes a choice of appetizer, soup or salad, intermizzo, entr?e and dessert.
?Appetizer ? 1) Snails and Baby Spinach Tartlets 2) Lobster and Artichoke Napoleon 3) Montrachet Goat Cheese Tatin 4) Roasted Rocky Mountain Quail or 5) Cuttle Fish Fricassee.
?Soup or Salads - French Onion Soup or Cajun Crayfish Minestrone; Salads - Bibb Lettuce & Roquefort Quenelle, Curly Endive or Caesar Salad.
?Intermizzo ? Granny Smith Sorbet with Calvados Drizzle
?Entrees ? 1) Colorado Lamb Rack 2) Seared Filet Mignon 3) Grilled Veal Chop 4) Chicken Scaloppini 5) Saut?ed Moulard Duck Supreme 6) Seared Colorado Buffalo Medallion 7) Rocky Mountain Wapiti Elk Tenderloin 8) Papillotte of Atlantic Seabass 9) Pan-Friend European Turbot 10) Saut?ed John Dory And Golden Chanterelles 11) Roasted Alaskan Halibut Or 12) Roasted Portobello and Crepe Mushroom Tower.

?The menu ranges in price from $45 to $85 per person.
CHRISTMAS EVE AT THE GARDEN TERRACE
A traditional Christmas Eve Charles Dickens buffet will include:
?A variety of cold selections such as Seafood Pasta, Caesar Salad, Oysters on the Half-Shell and more.
?Diverse hot items including Cioppino with Pumpkin, Honey Roasted Goose, Oregano Seared Halibut and more.
?Carving selections include Salmon En Croute and Mustard and Herb-Seared Beef Tenderloin.
?Featured desserts include tempting treats such as Bananas Foster, a traditional Yule Log, Sweet Potato Pie and Apple Crumb Pie.
?The buffet will be served from 12pm until 7 p.m.
?The price is $32.95 for adults and $13.95 for children 4 to 10 years old. Children under 4 are free.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY DINNER BUFFET AT THE GARDEN TERRACE
The buffet includes:
?A delicious array of cold selections such as Mixed Greens with assorted condiments and dressings, Smoked Goose Salad, a Cold and Smoked Seafood Display and more.
?Tempting hot selections including Cranberry Breast of Chicken, Roasted Striped Bass, Tricolor Ravioli with Scallops and Shrimp, Turbot Steak with Shrimp and Lobster and more.
?Carving selections include Fresh Thyme Roasted Beef Tenderloin and Salmon En Croute.
?A holiday display of seasonal Tortes, Pies, Cakes, Holiday Yule Log and Christmas Cookies.
?The buffet is available from 5pm to 9 p.m.
?The price is $25.95 for adults and $10.95 for children 4 to 10. Children under 4 are free.
NEW YEAR?S EVE
The Swan
The Swan will offer a special four-course New Year?s Eve dinner including appetizer, soup or salad, entr?e and dessert. Examples for each course follow.
?Appetizers ? A Cassolette of Texas Snails or A Mosaic Of Tequila Marinated Salmon, Ahi Tuna & Jumbo Scallops.
?Soup or Salad - Soups - Cream Of Green and White Asparagus or Comsomm? of Scottish Hare. Salads - Jumbo Lump Crab, Wild Mesclun Greens and Caesar Salad.
?Entrees ? 1) Grilled Filet Mignon & Presto Prawns 2) Routt County Roasted Lamb Rack 3) Roasted Capon Breast or 4) Maine Lobster Inverness.
?Desserts ? 1) Mascarpone Apricot Parfait, 2) Tropical Fruit Gratin 3) Nougatine Nest of Wild Cherry Brul?e.
