Garden Terrace Announces New Menus

THE GARDEN TERRACE AT INVERNESS HOTEL & GOLF CLUB ANNOUNCES NEW MENUS, EXPANDED SUNDAY BRUNCH AND SEAFOOD BUFFET OFFERINGS

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Garden Terrace restaurant, offering casual and comfortable breakfasts, lunches and dinners at Inverness Hotel & Golf Club, has brand-new menus and expanded offerings at its popular Friday and Saturday evening Seafood Buffet and Sunday Brunch. Inverness' new executive chef, Eric Scuiller, unveiled the changes this week.

The breakfast menu features items such as The Dixie, which includes homemade buttermilk biscuits with fresh scrambled eggs, country sausage and cheese for $8.50; Inverness Eggs Benedict with two large poached eggs, served on an English muffin with Canadian bacon, topped with the Inverness' own Citrus Hollandaise sauce for $10.50 and Honey French Toast, which is made with orange-cinnamon swirl bread and honey-Grand Marnier batter and served with toasted almonds and wild blueberry syrup for $8.50.

The Garden Terrace's new lunch menu includes favorites such as Inverness's trademark Inverness Lobster and Salmon Minestrone soup for $4.75, as well as new dishes such as Lavender Rubbed Salmon grilled with an aromatic spice rub, bok choy and cilantro for $12.50, and Spinach & Gorgonzola Ravioli with a basil pesto sauce with wild mushrooms and Roma tomatoes topped with roasted red pepper coulis for $11.75.

Guests who dine at The Garden Terrace in the evening can start with tasty appetizers such as Rocky Mountain Goat Cheese Chicken Pizza with roasted chicken and onions topped with goat cheese and basil for $9.75 or Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos served with Key lime juice, avocado, cilantro and wasabi-ginger dipping sauce for $8.50. Entrees include items such as Paella Valencianna with shrimp, mussels, calamari, chorizo sausage and saffron rice for $21.50, White Truffle Chicken Breast with truffle oil marinade seared with a mild lemon confit cumin essence for $17.95 and a Filet Mignonette with grilled shitake mushrooms over oven-roasted vegetables with a Pinot Noir reduction for $23.75.

The Garden Terrace's Seafood Buffet, voted "Best Seafood Buffet" by the Denver Post, includes over 50 seafood favorites, including crab legs, crispy fried calamari, pan-seared mahi mahi, Provencal Fish Stew, roasted beef tenderloin and a pasta station. The buffet includes a dessert buffet and a dessert station, and the cost is $28.95 for adults. The Seafood Buffet is served every Friday and Saturday night from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Sunday Brunch at The Garden Terrace includes made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, chef-carved salmon "en croute," and a dessert buffet and dessert station for $25.95 for adults and $13.95 for children ages 4 - 10. The Sunday Buffet, voted "Best Brunch Buffet" by Westword, is served from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Sunday.
