INVERNESS COMPLETES $3.2 MILLION RENOVATION

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. ? The Inverness Hotel & Golf Club, a AAA Four Diamond? resort and the only International Association of Conference Centers certified property in the region, recently completed a $3.2 million renovation of its 302 luxury guest rooms. This latest improvement program complements the public space renovation completed in 1998, part of the resort?s ongoing effort to surpass its own high standards and further its position as one of the nation?s premier conference centers.

While known for its state-of-the-art conference facilities and high-tech capabilities, the Inverness also offers a variety of luxurious amenities, including an on-site par 70 PGA golf course and AAA Four Diamond? restaurant, The Swan, for a unique leisure guest experience.

To create a more stylishly relaxed environment, the resort?s design team, including architects and interior designers Tim Zebrowski and Lisa Janigan of the Zebrowski Design Group from Beverly Hills, Calif., drew upon the indigenous colors and textures of the nearby Western Plains and neighboring Rocky Mountains.

Improvements to the guest rooms and bathrooms included:
* A new, natural, soft color palette reflective of the Western Plains (browns, greens and golds)
* A variety of textures and finishes for a softer look and feel
* Contemporary lighting
* Residential-scaled, custom-designed case piece lamps and seating to replace existing built-ins
* New sepia tone photography
* High-speed Internet access from all in-room data port phone lines

All of the guest rooms boast Internet access provided by Darwin Technologies, the most state-of-the-art provider, two telephones, a desk, mini-bar and views of the golf course or mountains. The resort also offers guests a range of award-winning dining options, including The Swan, its flagship restaurant for upscale bistro dining, weekend seafood extravaganzas and an unsurpassed Sunday Brunch at the Garden Terrace, as well as casual dining at the Golf Grille and light-hearted sports bar fare at The Pub. ?The Inverness? guest room and dining experiences now parallel that of our award-winning, state-of-the-art conference center,? said John Wagner, general manager. ?It was very important to us to proactively address issues to create a high-end product that enables the Inverness to maintain its competitive edge in the marketplace,? he added.
