Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Denver, Colorado Rocky Mountain resorts | The Inverness Hotel & Conference Center

Since our inception in The Inverness Business Park, The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center has been a committed member of our resident community.

Recently, we have elected to focus our level of support to a select number of community and charitable partnerships that we feel most represent our center and motivated passion.

Family Pathways of Colorado
Family Pathways of Colorado was founded in 1976 as a foster home for abused children. In 1981, Family Pathways expanded its programming so that they may now serve approximately 500 people each year through four distinct programs designed to address issues of child abuse. Family Pathways’ foster care roots have grown to include in-home family counseling, adoption services, and educational programming for children not able to function in a regular school environment.

The mission of those at Family Pathways is, "...to end the cycle of child abuse by treating victims and their families by providing effective programs and by fostering public awareness of the problem and its origins."

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation / Rally for a Cure
The mission of the Komen Foundation is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment.

Breast Cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths of women between the ages of 40-59. During the 1990's, approximately 1.8 million women and 12,000 men were diagnosed with breast cancer, the majority of whom had no known risk factors. In the Denver metropolitan area, an estimated 2,000 women will be diagnosed and 500 women will die from breast cancer this year.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister, Susan G. Komen, who died of breast cancer at the age of 36. The Foundation, based in Dallas, is a national organization with a network of more than 40,000 volunteers that work through more than 107 local affiliates across the United States. Since its inception in 1993, the Denver affiliate has raised millions of dollars to dedicate to the Komen mission.

In recent years, The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center has hosted the Rally for a Cure Golf Tournament in support of the Susan G. Komen foundation. Through this event, the Denver affiliate has been recognized nationally by the Foundation as one of the largest charitable contributors to the Komen mission.

In conjunction with the above partnerships, The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center is dedicated to preserving our relationships and continued support of the Children's Hospital and one of their largest annual fundraisers: The Metropolitan Homes Golf Tournament, as well as the Joe Sakic Celebrity Classic event in support of the Food Bank of The Rockies.

We feel better able to measure our successes by those realized in our community.
